Manage and execute Gateway to the North Campaign designed to encourage US businesses to travel to and invest resources in Manchester, England. Develop content, promote event and manage external vendors including PR, digital marketing and event logistics agencies to ensure cohesiveness of messaging and branded elements. Collaborate with event sponsor, Virgin Atlantic, to ensure cohesive and effective message delivery to a common target audience.
The project was delivered via the Critical Path Method and involved multiple stakeholders with different and often competing interests. The working group included 25+ stakeholders at various levels of seniority.
I organized and delivered two successful events on opposite coasts (San Francisco & Boston), two days a part, in the middle of the week. Attendance and new business goals were exceeded.
